The extension watches for visits to a curated list of AI-tool domains (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, and 60+ others). When a user navigates to one, the extension records a discovery event — timestamp, tool, device label, and domain. Nothing else is captured: no prompts, no responses, no page contents, no keystrokes.

Each browser profile that runs the extension registers itself with a device label you choose during install. A laptop with two Chrome profiles = two devices. You can rename devices anytime in Monitoring settings.

Yes. On the monitoring detail page, use the shadow-AI review workflow to mark a tool Approved, Under review, or Rejected. Approved tools stay visible in the event feed but no longer surface as flags in your activity feed or exports.

Indefinitely, for the life of your subscription. Exports include the full history unless you set a date range.

Oathmark maintains a network of independent attorneys admitted in each state. When you purchase an attorney-led matter, we match you with counsel licensed in your firm's state based on the matter type. You'll see their name, bar admission, and firm on your matter page as soon as they accept.

No. Oathmark is not a law firm and does not provide legal services. Attorney-led matters are delivered by independent principal counsel under a separate engagement letter between you and that attorney. Oathmark provides the platform, coordination, and payments infrastructure.

If matched counsel declines (typically a conflict of interest or capacity issue), we re-match to the next available attorney in your state within 2 business days. You are not charged legal fees until an attorney accepts.

Your attorney publishes a deliverables checklist to your matter page. Each item shows status (pending → in progress → complete) and a completion timestamp. You'll get an email notification whenever an item moves to complete.

Your invoice breaks into two parts: a platform fee (Oathmark's technology and coordination) and a legal fee pool (paid to counsel and, where applicable, the counsel's firm). Both are clearly itemized on the matter page.

Attorney payouts release automatically when the matter is marked Complete. Payouts route via Stripe Connect to the counsel's connected account (and, for firm-attributed engagements, to the firm's connected account).

Platform fees are non-refundable once the matter has been accepted by counsel. Legal fees are refundable per the terms of your engagement letter with counsel. Email support@oathmark.ai and we'll coordinate with your attorney.

Yes. From your client dashboard, use the Export your data card to download discovery events (CSV, optionally date-filtered) or a full ZIP that includes events, shadow-AI reviews, and matter history. Attorneys can export a per-matter ZIP from the matter page.

No. We do not sell, share, or license customer data to third parties. Data is used only to operate the service.

Email support@oathmark.ai from the address on your account. We'll confirm the request, close active matters (or transfer them to counsel directly), and permanently delete customer data within 30 days.
